About Me
I am Rushi Mehra, class 8th Student at Cambridge School, Srinivaspuri. I love make robots.
I have worked on making different robots using Arduino like Gesture controlled Car, Mecanum Wheel Car, Ultrasonic Radar, Floor Cleaning Robot, Edge Avoiding Robot, Line Follower Robot, Sun Following Solar Panel etc. I also made an Automatic Plant Irrigation system which help in saving water by watering plants only when required and in the right quantity.
I have been fortunate to learn robotics at rancho Labs where I gained hands-on experience in robotics and automation. Attending classes at Rancho labs has helped me to gain accumen in various aspects of robotics like mechanics, electronics and coding.
My Rancho Experience
When I first walked into the trial workshop at Rancho Labs, I was intrigued by the workings of robots. As I learned more about coding and the theory behind robotics, my interest grew even deeper. Now, I find myself eager to experiment with various ideas that come to mind, pushing the boundaries of what I can create.

My Projects
An autonomous robot moves around cleaning the floor. There are two rollers in the front and water is supplied using a pump. Rollers rotate to clean the floor as the robot moves around. There is an ultrasonic sensor to prevent the root from colliding with any object in front of it.
This robot is controller with the help of hand movement. An MPU6050 attached to the hand capture the movement of the hand. This is transmitted using NRF24L01 radio module. The robot moves based on the movement of the hand.
This car can move in different directions- forward, backward, move left, move right, move diagonally, rotate. This car is controlled using an app made in MIT App Inventor. Mobile is connected to the car using HC05 Bluetooth module.
