About Me
I’m Ishan Srivastava, a Class 12 student at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, and I’ve always been fascinated by technology, especially robotics and electronics.
As the president of my school's ATL Lab team, I’ve had the privilege of leading various projects, including developing robo soccer bots and drones for high-altitude applications. Organizing events like TinkerFest has allowed me to not only deepen my own understanding of innovation but also inspire others to explore tech.
I’ve been fortunate to intern at Rancholabs and Bennett University, where I gained hands-on experience in robotics, automation, and cybersecurity. Recently, my team and I have been working on a drone-based communication relay system that uses binary light signals to connect remote areas. This project has earned us recognition in the Youth Ideathon'24, where we ranked among the India’s top 500 teams, which has been a huge motivation for me.

Working with Rancholabs has been an incredible learning experience. I’ve had the opportunity to dive deep into the field of robotics, and automation. The practical knowledge and hands-on work at Rancholabs have given me a strong foundation in real-world tech applications.

My Projects
An Electricity Saving Smart Lamp features an LDR sensor to automatically turn on in low light conditions, promoting energy efficiency and providing convenient illumination when needed.
The IR Piano is an innovative robotics project designed to mimic the functioning of a piano using IR (Infrared) sensors and a buzzer. This device allows users to create musical notes by interacting with invisible infrared beams instead of pressing physical keys. Each interaction with the IR sensor triggers a corresponding sound or tone from the buzzer, simulating the experience of playing a traditional piano.
An automatic hand sanitizer dispenser utilizes sensors to detect hands below it, dispensing sanitizer without physical contact, making it a hygienic and user-friendly solution for maintaining hand cleanliness in various settings. This touchless technology is ideal for various places.
A smart dustbin employs an ultrasonic sensor to detect nearby hands, automatically opening its lid for touchless trash disposal, promoting hygiene and convenience. This innovative design is well-suited for modern homes and public spaces.
