About Me

I am Aarush Babbar student of class 8th at Birla Vidya Niketan, and I have been fascinated with electronics since I am 8 years old.

On my 8th birthday I was gifted a snap circuit junior electronics kit. This was the spark that got my interest on Electronics as the next few years I spent my Lockdown I had planty of time to research and gain more knowledge and by the time I was in 6th Grade I knew more things in electronics then almost all children in my School. From here I discovered ATL lab and started participating in various competitions.

I went on many visits to ATL exhibition in 6th and 7th grade and started participating in interschool competitions in my 8th Grade. Here I have been helped a lot by Rancho labs who helped me from making my first robot to making complex Wi-Fi projects till now I have participated in 8 competitions and many exhibitions in my school. Some of my projects Include Like Object Tracker Robot, 2 Robo soccer Robots, and the Green House IOT project, etc.

My Rancho Experience

Working with Rancholabs has been an incredible learning experience. I’ve had the opportunity to dive deep into the field of robotics, and automation. The practical knowledge and hands-on work at Rancholabs have given me a strong foundation in real-world tech applications.

My Projects

This robo soccer bot is engineered for fast, precise movements on the soccer field. Equipped with powerful motors, and a robust control system, it can efficiently navigate, pass, and shoot the ball with accuracy. Designed for competitive robotics, this bot excels in combining speed with smart play.

This robot specializes in detecting
and tracking color objects to collect them and deposit them at a certain place and It can run on the ground and collect colored blocks to put them into a space pe-defined, this helped me get 2nd position in the “AI FOR GOOD YOUTH CHALLENGE”.

A futuristic model that allows farmers to grow any crop at any place at any time of the year, it can also be really helpful for growing or transporting plants when there is no sunlight.

This LFR uses a 8+2 sensor array to precisely follow line, it can do right turns and can also go very fast thanks to its precise sensor arrey, and I am still developing this project.

Competitions

TECH UDAY 2.O

This Robo soccer competition held at our school by
using powerful motors and excellent skill in driving the robot we are able to maneuvered the rob soccer ball pass the opponent and into the goal. We majorly won because we had the most powerful motors and a very suitably design robot for the ball size. In this way we won past many schools to ultimately win in the competition. I participated this event in a team of 4.

AI FOR GOOD,

YOUTH CHALLENGE 2024

In the AI FOR GOOD YOUTH CHALLENGE I was faced for building a robot that could rescue humans from a disaster site. This Competition tested the capabilities of our robots to detect and collect various wooden blocks who were mimicking real life people stranded in a disaster. Our robot was again powerful and so took the least time to collect all the blocks and placed them at the hospital way. The main reason we got 2nd Position was because the other teams were using 2 robots instead of 1. As t was not defined how many robots we can use but the starting area.

MECKATHLON 2024

This competition task me and my teammate to make the fastest robot to complete a huddle race. Our robot in this case was powerful and also had great speed, the power help us to climb over huddle easily. This allowed me to outperform other teams and end up in top3. I will also be going for the nest round in Bengaluru for the MECKATHLON 2024, where I will be equipping my robot with higher speed and powerful motors.

My Gallery
