Program Description



Robotics is fundamentally a branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots. It is a powerful tool to understand the basic concepts of Computer Science, Mechanical engineering, and Electronics engineering. In this program you will build a strong foundation in Robotics by learning different Electronics & Electrical concepts and components, Mechanical concepts and mechanism and programming.You will be building many robots and projects throughout the course using Arduino.

Rohan is a 2017 Batch B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at IIT Delhi. He has worked as CTO at ETEX and currently he is Overall Coordinator of Robotics Club, IIT Delhi.
He has worked on development of many Robots like Autonomous 4 Legged Robot, ROS based Mecanum Drive, Robotic Arm and has lead the team of IIT Delhi at various National and International Levels.

Aman is a 2017 Batch B.Tech in Chemical Engineering at IIT Delhi. He has worked as Executive at Student Affairs Council at IIT Delhi.
He has worked on development of Robots like 6 legged spider, robotic arm, Scissor's lift etc. Aman is a go-getter and tries his best once he decides to do something.

❱ Is this program fully online? Do we need to buy components to learn this course?


Yes, the program is fully online and all electronic components are being used in a virtual environment using tinkercad. It is good if you have components but it is not required to learn this course. The whole course components can be simulated in the virtual environment.



❱ What are the pre-requisites to attend this program?


There are no pre-requisites for the program. But you must have good internet and a laptop/computer to attend the classes and to do the assignments and projects.
Basic knowledge of electrical terms like resistance, current, voltage etc are expected from the student.



❱ Who is eligible to apply for this program?


Anyone who loves building machines, break and build electronic stuff is eligible to attend the program.
